Many people swear by their Jillian Michaels Workout DVDs for keeping in shape. Since 2005, certified fitness trainer and entrepreneur Jillian Michaels has released over 15 DVDs to help women burn calories and sculpt their bodies through a variety of techniques.

This DVD was released in 2013 and includes two intensive 30 minute yoga routines that are certainly not traditional. The workouts are challenging and incorporate cardio moves into yoga that you would not see in a traditional yoga class. This makes the exercise routine fun, but it is also a very powerful form of exercises that shows positive results. However it is not explained whether each routine stands alone or can be combined together for an hour-long workout. This routine is aimed at people who want energetic yoga routines to supplement their meditative yoga sessions.

This DVD is a diet and workout plan designed for 30-day use. It includes four workout routine videos of 24 minutes each. This is based on Michaels’ own interval system of 3-2-1 that mixes a combination of strength training, cardio and workouts targeting the abs. The DVD also comes with a free diet plan to be followed through the 30 days. You can work up from level 1 to level 4 as you gain more experience. Michaels recommends that you do the workouts about 5 or 6 times a week for the best results.
Many women have seen results with the Ripped in 30 workout within a month and a healthy 1400-1500 calorie meal a month. Some have managed to lose as much as 8 to 10 lbs in a month, which is a very realistic result. Users have also gained extra strength in that time.
This DVD includes 3 workouts each of which is 30 minutes long. They are meant to target your abs and help you tone the flab that makes you self-conscious and gives you a muffin top in jeans. The videos are again at varied difficulty levels. Users have found the videos functional, practical and fun to do. The first two videos are intermediate levels while the third is advanced. Routines include circuit training styles and other innovative variations which break monotony.
The general consensus is that any Jillian Michaels workout DVD will be able to help you achieve your goals in a realistic way. The routines will help you strengthen your muscles, tone your abs and shape your legs and thighs or offer a full body workout, depending on the DVD you choose. The challenge is usually to be able to persist in the training. If you are able to stick to the routines then you should be able to sustain the weight loss indefinitely.
