Eat Right for Your Blood Type
I was reading this interesting article on Blood Types and Nutrition that explains there is a way to eat right for your blood type. I never thought that our blood types could have an effect on what we eat or how our body reacts to it, but the more I learned about it the more interesting it became.
Eating right for your blood type is a concept introduced by author Peter D’Adamo’s series of books which encourage people to learn more about their blood types and the foods that are right for you to eat.
Apparently our blood types have a lot to do with how we digest foods and how our body breaks them down and uses them. Certain blood types have foods they should try to incorporate into their diets – while other blood types have foods to avoid. For example Type O Blood type can benefit the most by eating beef, eggs, spinach, and even pineapple! But foods such as bacon, white potatoes and others can be more difficult to digest and break down.
It was really interesting to learn more about eating right for your blood type, and it is something I will have to check into. It certainly makes sense and would seem reliable that eating right for your blood type could make a huge difference in your overall health, nutrition, and well being!
